During the summer months wasps are among the most annoying and problematic pests we experience.

Wasps are large, conspicuous buzzing insects with yellow and black striped, 10-15mm long. They have a sweet tooth at one end and a painful sting at the other.

Wasps produce paper pulp nests in a variety of places from trees to attics.  Sometimes there is more than just one wasp nest in the area. In order for us to establish the full extent of the problem, we conduct a survey of the area including monitoring the wasps and their habits.

Once we have located the wasp nest (or nests) we will treat this with a special 1st insecticide. Following on from this the wasps will either die or leave the nest and will not return.  If you find you have an ongoing problem we can also take preventative measures in order to deter future wasps and wasp nests.

Wasp stings are quite painful and they often sting when disturbed. If you were to disturb a wasp nest, there could be hundreds if not thousands in the nest at any one time, so it is important that this work is carried out by a professional pest control technician with the correct equipment and protective clothing.
